This Institute was established in 2012.
There are 50 seats of students filled every year.
The duration of the course was 3 years & 6 months till 2015.
In 2015, the syllabus of GNM was revised and the duration of the course became 3 years.
The first batch started in 2012 and passed out in 2016. (3 years & 6 months)
Till date, we have relieved 8 GNM batches
There is 1 sanctioned post of principal, 1 post of Vice principal & 15 Sister Tutors
Nonteaching staff:-18 different posts are sanctioned and staff is
recruited through Outsource agency “Innovision Pvt. Ltd.”
Achievements of Institute
The result of all batches is 100%. Many of the students of this institute are selected in tests conducted for their degree course i.e Post Basic nursing in various govt institutes Recently in the year 2022_23 in Rajindra hospital, Patiala, 14 out of 22 students are from this institute. In the same way, they are selected for govt jobs also.
Activities
Along with fulfilling the completion of their theory and practical requirements as demanded by INC students participate in all national programs at the district level, field visits study tours and co-curricular activities like sports annual functions, etc. During Covid-19 pandemic our students did a tremendous job in hospital like giving vaccination to all individuals and covering up the whole district of Ropar Recently final-year students appeared in IELTS test held by Lamrin university on 4.11.22
